**Topic: ** **** UPDATE ***
After we sent out the announcement, Paul Baker from Boys Town graciously volunteered to speak.
Abstract: In this discussion, we will see different business use cases for using SharePoint as a collaboration platform with people outside of your organization. As opposed to simply saying, “that’s what O365 is for”, we will take a look at the considerations that come up when hosting this on your own resources. Finally, we will take a quick deep dive into Authenticating your users from different sources and claims. We’ll see how to use Active Directory Federated Services and Forms Based Authentication to allow users with different credentials to log in to the same URL for the same SharePoint content. Finally, we’ll take a look at a few components you can download and install to make your “claims” life easier! Presenter:
Paul has worked with SharePoint since WSSv2.0, starting in 2005. Since that time, Paul has worked with each successive version helping organizations to get the most out of the platform for their business. He has had the opportunity to work as a trainer and consultant, but currently works for Boys Town in Omaha.
