We will be having some special guests in Omaha! The SQL Skills teams will be in town and has graciously offered to speak at our user group! We've moved the usual date to this Tuesday evening to help accommodate their schedule.

It’s simple, we’ll each present for about 20 mins and we’ll allchoose a favorite topic/feature to help you recover from disasters or improveperformance. In this order, Paul will talk about aspects of disaster recoveryinvolving the transaction log and show some cool demos. Jon will talk aboutusing distributed reply to test your application compatibility and performancebefore upgrade. Then, Joe will talk about how to identify cardinalityestimation issues and discuss a few common problem-resolution scenarios. And,finally, Kimberly will continue with another cardinality problem and solve itusing filtered statistics.
Come armed with your SQL Server questions as well as we’llfollow up our presentations with an open Q&A. Finally, we’ll raffle off acouple of books written by SQLskills team members.
