David PetersenDavid is a senior SharePoint consultant in Omaha, Nebraska. Afrequent speaker at SharePoint Saturday conferences and user group meetings, hehas a passion for helping organizations maximize their investment inSharePoint. He started programming computers in 1979, and after an eight-yearstint in the United States Marine Corps, has held positions in IT organizationsfrom desktop support, to IT Director, to starting his own consulting company.He wrote his first web part in 2001 for (Tahoe Server) SharePoint Portal Serverand he has specialized in building custom SharePoint solutions for the lastseveral years.
