2026 Omaha .NET User Group – Sponsorship Opportunities
Fellow .NET Users,
Each year, we reach out to the many Omaha businesses that value .NET technologies and professionals to help fund the Omaha .NET User Group for the upcoming year. Time and again, local organizations have stepped up in a huge way — keeping our community active and thriving. Since 2001, more than 40 companies have supported this group, and their contributions have made all the difference.
We’ve always believed it’s vital for the Omaha .NET UG to remain independent and community-driven, not tied to a single sponsor. To support that principle, we’ll again use the lottery-style sponsorship system we introduced in previous years — a system many sponsors told us they prefer over the old first-come, first-served approach.
How It Works
- Companies may enter the lottery for one or more of the 11 available sponsor months (Jan–Dec, excluding November).
- Sponsors can submit multiple entries for the same month (up to 11 total entries).
- Entries must be submitted by December 6th at 5:00 PM using this form: https://forms.office.com/r/MJ5qTkqECD
- On December 9th, we’ll randomly select one sponsor for each month. Once selected, that sponsor will be removed from other drawings.
- Lottery results will be announced by end of day, December 9th.
- Selected sponsors will then pay the $150 sponsorship fee by December 20th at 5:00 PM (payment instructions will follow).
- Any unpaid sponsorships will be redrawn from the remaining entries.

- Dec 15 – Winners announced
- Dec 28 @ 5:00 PM – Sponsorship payments due

- Address attendees directly during your sponsored month’s meeting.
- Build goodwill — our sponsors are recognized as organizations that invest in local talent and support professional growth.
Sponsor Responsibilities
- Food: Provide food for the meeting (often pizza, but your choice). Attendance typically ranges around 40–60, depending on topic and location.
- Hosting (optional): You’re welcome to host the meeting at your office (seating for ~50). If not, no problem — we have partner venues available.
- Speaking (optional): You may also provide a speaker from your company. It’s a great way to showcase your expertise and share your culture with the community.
