Topic:
An Authorization Journey - Beginning to End by Matt Ruwe
It’s not a stretch to say that every software system written today has some form of authorization requirements. In this presentation, Matt will review the most important considerations for choosing an authorization system that can be used across all applications within your organization. Additionally, we’ll review several of the best options available in the market today. This topic is a culmination of the work Matt has been doing to introduce a new authorization platform at a fortune 500 company.
After this presentation, you should expect to have a basic framework for handling authorization within your applications. You’ll know what to look for and be able to evaluate the plethora of great options in the market today. You’ll also know the gaps in the various platforms which will enable you to ensure that all aspects of authorization are covered.
Because this is the .NET User’s Group, we’ll review a working prototype including the source code.
