Fellow .NET Users,
Welcome to 2023! I always enjoy our break in December, spending time with family and friends, but by the time January rolls around, I'm energized and ready to get going again. For 2023, we have 11 sponsors who have committed to supporting each of our meetings throughout the year. Our first sponsor, Kiewit, is setting the bar pretty high by providing food catered by Sgt Peffers, and some nice prizes. They'll be giving away a pair of the new Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II and 2 $100 Amazon gift cards.
The next .NET UG meeting will take place on Thursday, January 26th starting at 6:00 PM. Food and drinks will be provided by our sponsor 15-20 minute before the meeting begins. After that I'll be giving a 60-90 min presentation on a variety of .NET topics (see below). We'll do the prize giveaways at the end of the meeting.Host:

Fun facts and tidbits that might surprise you about .NET by Matt Ruwe
.NET is over 20 years old now and has undergone many changes in that timeframe. Some of the capabilities are less celebrated than others, but that doesn't mean they aren't extremely useful. In this presentation, Matt will look at a few features that people don't generally talk about which will hopefully increase the size of your development toolbox and make you a better developer. These topics range from language features to tips and tricks to libraries that you may never have heard of. This will be a fun and interactive session.Speakers:
