Omaha .NET User Group August Meeting

My apologies for getting this invite out so late. Please note that the meeting is taking place this week, so make sure to mark your calendars!
The next .NET UG meeting will take place on Thursday, August 26th, starting at 6:00 PM. Our sponsor will be providing food and drinks around 5:30 for all of those in attendance, so please make sure to RSVP if you plan to attend. If you're planning to attend virtually, please do not RSVP as we only need RSVPs so we can order the right amount of food. .NET Microservices in AKS by Mike Douglas
Azure Kubernetes Service is a fully managed Kubernetes platform for hosting and managing the Lifecyle of applications. With the growing use of microservices, platforms like AKS provide a lot of cross cutting functionality so you don't need to provide it in each service. During the talk, we will go through an overview of AKS, .NET Microservices architecture patterns, deploying microservice applications via pipelines, along with some cloud patterns for making your .NET applications more resilient. We will also talk about using an App Gateway and Ingress Controller to route traffic to modern app.
