Omaha .NET user group June meeting
Fellow developers
Notice: It looks like the upcoming holiday weekend was impacting the turnout for the meeting. So we are moving the meeting back one week to July 7th.
Summer is underway. If you are looking for a way to beat the heat, how about joining other .NET developers and learn something new.
Last month we got a taste of how to use Docker. This month we are going a bit deeper with Docker and will look at using it with ASP.NET. Microsoft is making big investments in making sure that .NET works in Docker containers, as well as adding support for containers to Windows. Within the next 2 years, I bet Docker will become the standard way to deploy .NET applications.
The next .NET user group meeting will take place on June 30th starting at 6:00 PM. Food and drink will be served by our sponsor about 15-20 minutes before the start of the meeting.
