Fellow .Net Users,

For this month's introduction I wanted to say thanks for everyone's support of the user group. I'm especially thankful to John Haro for agreeing to manage the video side of things. You'll see him manning the camera during the user group presentation but he'll also be doing the behind-the-scenes work of editing, which can be time consuming. Thanks John!

Also, please note that at last month's meeting Brian introduced the idea of presenting on a lesser known feature either in or associated with the .Net framework. For those of you who listen to the .Net Rocks podcast (https://www.dotnetrocks.com/), this idea is similar to their "Better Know a Framework" segment. We would like to have someone bring a topic to the group and take 5-10 minutes present on it after the primary presentation is complete. This is a great opportunity for those that might have some anxiety around presenting to try it out on a very small scale. If you have a topic you would like to present on for 5-10 minutes, let Brian and Myself know before the meeting. If we don't get any, we'll try to come up with something every month. I have a fairly fun idea for this month's meeting. =)

Now onto the good stuff. This month's meeting will take place on Thursday, February 25th, starting at 6:00 PM. Food and drink will be served free of charge by our sponsor about 15-20 minutes before the start of the meeting. Please note the new location for this meeting.

See how we are empowering users with a Content Management System (CMS) and how the capabilities can be used across the enterprise. We will take a look at how we are using the Orchard CMS, OData and Web API to manage content for multiple applications on mobile and web based applications.
