MVC4, WebAPI and jQuery

We’ll cover how to get started developing websites with MVC4 and WebAPI.  We’ll cover some basics of MVC and how it can lead to clean separation of user interface, logic and data models.  We’ll learn how to create an MVC4 and WebApi project and how to use jQuery and AJAX to leverage the RESTful WebAPI controller.  We’ll learn how to create basic authentication for our MVC4 project and customize the Principal and Identity to store additional information with our forms authentication ticket.  We’ll also cover some important differences between MVC4 and previous versions of MVC as well as important differences between WebAPI and standard MVC Controllers.  We’ll finish with a working application and full source code will be provided to anyone who wants to play around with it and learn more. **Presenter:
